THE POLYTHECNIC IBADAN STUDENTS TO PAY FOR PROTESTING

The management of the polythecnic Ibadan has directed all its students to pay the sum of N1,000 each as they return to school on Monday,April 4,2016 after forced break.


This was announced in a statement issued by the institution's Registrar,Hezekiah Fehintola in Ibadan on Thursday.According to him, the fee is a reparation for damage done to the properties of the institution during the last protest by the students.

It was added in the statement that the students must present a reference letter from any eminent person such as community leader,religious leader,senior public/civil servant.
The refrees must pledge good conducts on behalf of the student with a passport photograph of  such referee attached to the letter.

It will be called that the management of the institution,early March,ordered the students to proceed on a compulsory break to prevent further violation of law and order after the students protested against the introduction of insurance and ICT fees introduced by the student's union.
