PASTOR ARRESTED IN LAGOS FOR SELLING 390K ANNOINTING OIL TO WOMAN TO WASH HER PRIVATE PART

A 50-year-old pastor, John Ojebe, has been arrested and charged to court for allegedly selling anointing oil of N390,000 to woman in Lagos.

Pastor Ojebe sold this special anointing oil a woman named Hawo Umoru on Monday April 13, collecting the sum of N390k from her under the  pretense he was selling her Adonai oil to wash her private parts with.

He conspired with two others, who are now at large, to dupe the woman at Sura Mogaji Street, off Coker Road, Ilupeju, Lagos State before he was arrested by the police while others fled.

He has been charged before an Oshodi Magistrate’s Court in Lagos for felony, obtaining money by false pretence and stealing N390,000 belonging to the victim.

However, when the charge was read to the accused before Magistrate Akeem Fashola, he pleaded not guilty.

One of the charges read: “That you John Ojebe, with two others at large, on April 13, 2014, at about 11am along Sura Mogaji Street, off Coker Road, Ilupeju in the Lagos State Magisterial District, did obtain N390,000 from one Hawo Umoru under the pretence of selling to her one Adonai oil for washing of her private part.”

The case has been adjourned till April 27.
